Foxey Lady

Foxey Lady

Fox-lady is one of the Chinese mythological, a part of Asia Demon Lore, a series of creatures usually capable of shapeshifting who may either be benevolent or malevolent spirits.
In one ancient myth, a beautiful fox-lady fell love with a poor scholar who studied hard all day to gain fame. She took care of his daily life, shared food and money to help him. Finally, he succeeded and became a high official. However, he didn’t marry the kind fox-lady as he promised before he succeeded, instead, he married the daughter of a powerful man. In order to get rid of the fox-lady, he also told her secret to a demon catcher. The fox-lady was heartbroken had no choice, and hid into the mountains to save her life. And decades passed, she still hated those heartless and ungrateful men. With her daily increased mana, she used her beauty to seduce ungrateful men, and poison them. For hundreds of years, she got enough power and mana to become a celestial fox, but she still stayed in the Fairland alone to punish the bad men and help heartbroken women regain confidence in the world.
Now it is not only a historical fantasy story that is the word of mouth, but also more like a symbolism that blesses young ladies away from those bad people.
